PUTUTUT BUNTOK (SEVERED HEAD IN ENGLISH)
Whilst looking for ways to expand my game audio career, I decided to take leadership in producing my very own video game where I am the audio director and main sound designer (Putut Buntuk, 2026). Coming soon, Pututk Buntuk explores a made up Filipino Urban Legend my own mother told me to scare me so I wouldn’t watch TV after 9:30pm at night.
EXPANDING MY TECHNICAL HORIZONS
Though, initially, producing a videogame seemed very daunting, it pushed my curiosity and expanded my technical skills in more ways that I thought were personally possible; resulting in me exploring how to bridge my sounds to game engines through C#. Currently, I am investing time away from my day job exploring the free, Microsoft Learn C# official collection.
BOTS N-BLOOM
Sponsored by Independent Game Academy, Team Bladesong was able to publish “BOTS N-BLOOM” on steam. I was graciously invited onto the project to assist in sound designing SFX, dialogue, and ambience. With this project, I familiarized myself with the FMOD program, and even implemented sounds into the GitHub project.
CALL OF ONAIA
The ideation of Call of Onaia was born on a slow spring afternoon. It’s roots stem from a fungal corruption as it spreads throughout the land. Onaia, the world tree, calls upon the creatures of its habitat to defend against the forces of evil! Simple, but sweet, this project familiarized my technical implementation workflow from reaper, to wwise, to github.
